This Privacy Policy describes how Steelman Group s.r.l. collects, uses and shares the personal information of users of our website and of those who interact with us through events, training programs and the online store. It applies to all information collected through the website and our online activities.

Collection of personal information

We collect personal information when users subscribe to the newsletter, sign up for events and training programs, or make purchases in the online store. The information collected may include, but is not limited to, name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.

Use of personal information

Personal information collected through the website may be used to:

• provide information about our events and activities;
• respond to user requests;
• personalize browsing on the website;
• improve our services and content;
• send promotional communications;
• publish the list of athletes entered in each race.

Sharing of personal information

We do not share users' personal information with third parties, except as required to comply with a court order, a government request or other legal process.

The only exception is the entrant list: each race page shows publicly the athletes entered in that race, with their first and last name, age on race day, nationality, bib number and, for individual races, sex, as organizers of sporting events usually do. This includes the teammate named in a team entry. No other data is published. Any athlete can remove themselves, and their team, from the list at any time from their athlete profile, or by writing to support@steelmanh24race.com.

Protection of personal information

We are committed to protecting users' personal information. We use appropriate security technologies and procedures to protect it against loss, misuse or modification. However, no data transmission over the Internet or any other electronic communication system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee the absolute security of users' personal information.

Connecting Strava

In the Steelman app you can choose to connect your Strava account. Strava asks for your permission, and only then do we read, through the Strava API, your activities from the last 30 days: name, sport, date, distance, duration, elevation gain, route and recording device, including activities that only you can see on Strava.

Activities are read from Strava each time you open them and are not stored on our systems: we keep only your Strava account identifier, the permissions you granted and the access keys, encrypted. Your Strava data is visible to you alone: we do not share it with other athletes, the organisers or third parties, and we do not use it for leaderboards, statistics, advertising or artificial intelligence.

You can disconnect Strava at any time from the app's Profile or from your Strava account settings. When you disconnect, revoke access from Strava or delete your Steelman account, we revoke access and delete the Strava data about you, and the app confirms the deletion. You can also request deletion by writing to support@steelmanh24race.com: we will confirm in writing once it is complete.

Strava collects and uses data about the use of its API, including the requests made by the Steelman app, under its own privacy policy (strava.com/legal/privacy), which prevails over this one for the data Strava processes.

Changes to this Privacy Notice and Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Notice and Policy at any time. Changes take effect on the date they are published on the website. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any updates.
